| The Worm Factory is green, not only in color, but in concept. There is NO better way to help Mother Earth do its best job of sustaining us than with vermicomposting. I have compared other kinds of vermicomposters, and I think the Worm Factory is the best design for the worms and for users. Firstly, and most important, the worms can easily migrate upwards through the grid on the bottom of each tray because the upper tray sits within the tray below it. Without that contact, the worms would have to fly to reach another tray. This design factor makes it really easy to know when you need to harvest some finished vermicompost. As the tray contents shrink into the finished compost, the tray above it lowers further into it, which tells you that it needs to be emptied and refilled and rotated. Do

How it works:
Vermiculture or Vermicomposting as it is also known uses nature's own compost makers, worms to generate compost. The Worm Factory automatically separated food scraps from the finished compost. You simply fill the bottom tray with red wiggler worms, bedding and food scraps. As the worms finish digesting, they will migrate upward into the tray above, leaving rich castings behind. Moisture is also gathered in the collection tray and can be easily drained for use as a nutrient rich liquid fertilizer. It couldn't be easier or cleaner.
What is Worm Composting?
Worm composting is an incredibly efficient way to convert kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost for your garden. Most 'Master Gardeners' consider worm castings to be the very best compost available. Your plants will thrive with this all-natural compost. Sorting out the undigested scraps can be a messy, inconvenient chore with ordinary worm composters.
One of the best features of The Worm Factory is the complete 16 page, illustrated instruction manual. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, the manual will assure you a successful outcome of recycling your kitchen waist and create the most nutrient rich soil for your house plants, containers and garden.
Benefits of the Worm Factory:
Saves Space: Its compact square design gives the Worm Factory the smallest footprint of all worm composters. The Worm Factory’s tray stacking system allows it to hold the largest capacity of compost in the smallest amount of space, making it perfect for anyone with space limitations.
Easy to Manage: The Worm Factory is simple to operate. When full, each tray weighs only 12.5 pounds, making lifting and arranging trays effortless. The included 16-page instruction manual makes setup fast and easy and gives detailed tips on how to best manage your Worm Factory year-round.
Odorless: When managed correctly, the Worm Factory is virtually odorless, making it the perfect composter for apartments, kitchens, garages, porches and more!
Saves Time: Let the Worm Factory do the work for you! Instead of spending time turning piles of compost yourself and removing worms by hand, the multi-tray system separates the worms from the compost so you don’t have to. Also, because the worms continually eat through the waste in the stacked trays, compost is produced at a faster rate than traditional methods of composting.
Produces the Best Compost: The best compost for your garden is all-natural, nutrient-rich compost produced by worms. The Worm Factory creates the high-quality compost that will help your garden thrive!
